Paradise Valley is an exciting city building game in which you get to accompany Chick, a brave and adventurous bird, who’s on a quest to build a paradise on an isolated island. It’s a delightful game that not only features a new concept but unique gameplay as well so it’s certainly going to keep you entertained for quite some time.
Paradise Valley is definitely among the more feature filled and in-depth simulation games out there and this is why its learning curve a slight bit steeper than you’d initially expect. Thankfully, though, the game starts off with a pretty helpful tutorial that guides new players through all the basics. One thing that we don’t necessarily like about the tutorial is the fact that it forces new players to complete it before they can enjoy the rest of the game’s content but, all things considered, it’s definitely worthwhile because of how much it manages to teach.
Onto the actual gameplay, Paradise Valley doesn’t cease to impress at all. The game is filled to the brim with content so you’ll definitely be hooked on it for quite some time since there will always be new content to look forward to. One thing worth keeping in mind about Paradise Valley is the fact that it uses a worker system for all its tasks and this is why the progression is slightly slow but this is more than made up for by the insane variety of gameplay features that Paradise Valley has to offer.
Perhaps the most impressive thing about Paradise Valley is the fact that it actually allows players to unlock and move to new islands as the game goes on. There’s a helpful map that’ll tell you all the islands you currently have access to and it’ll allow you to conveniently switch between each one of these with a few simple clicks. The different islands do an excellent job of keeping things fresh because each individual island has its own unique challenges and hurdles that you’ll need to overcome in order to turn it into an exotic place that everyone would want to visit.
It’s worth noting that, while Paradise Valley is primarily a city building game, it does have quite a lot of farming features to offer and these are definitely a welcomed addition because farming gameplay tends to synergize nicely with city building gameplay and that’s the case here as well.
Alongside being a treat to play, Paradise Valley is a delight to look at as well. All the in-game entities have been designed with perfection and they’ve been given delightful animations as well so the game looks quite lively overall. Each individual island in the game also features a unique design so, as you progress through the game, you’ll get to unlock more breathtaking places to see.
Paradise Valley is completely free to play but it does have a bunch of micro-transactions that allow players to get their hands on in-game bonuses with real world money.
