Dream Hospital - Health Care Manager Simulator is a management simulator game set around the building, expanding and managing your very own hospital. In this game, you are the new health care manager of a large hospital in the middle of a city. It is up to you to strategize and coordinate your hospital staff, from the maintenance guy up to the professional doctors, to ensure that you can provide state of the art medical care to meet the needs of the people!
There are quite a few things to explore in this game, and you might take some time to fully grasp every aspect of it. To get things started, first, you will need a general practitioner, or GP for short, to attend to the more mundane illnesses like the common cold. The game provides you with one by default, so the next thing you need to take care of is making sure you have a Pharmacy with a nurse stationed there to dispense the proper medicine for the patients.
Patients will automatically walk into the hospital and check themselves in at the Reception. The whole process from checking in, visiting the GP, and getting medicine from the Pharmacy is automated. However, things get more tricky as you progress. Some patients will begin to come in with more and more diverse illnesses and health conditions, which will gradually require you to construct a selection of medical facilities.
Bear in mind that the patients seeking medical attention at your hospital need to be taken care of in a timely and proper manner. You can tap on a patient to view his health and happiness levels, and also a bunch of other useful information like what ails him or her, and if they need a specific type of medicine to cure it. Medicine in the Pharmacy needs to be restocked by visiting the shop and purchasing them, and as you level up, more medicine types will become available.
Every room that you build requires at least one medical staff to manage it. After you have built a new room, tap on it to bring up the sub-menu where you can select the “Hire” button to choose a person you want to hire. Each staff has their own distinct stats in terms of Skill, Charisma, and Stamina, and you will need coins to hire them. You can either refresh the list for more staff members to hire, or you can wait for it to refresh itself after a certain amount of time.
Always keep an eye on the Alerts at the bottom of the screen to see special requests and so on. Sometimes, a new type of medicine is needed by a particular patient, and you will need to acquire some from the shop, whilst other times, you will be prompted to build a new medical facility to cater to more specialized treatments.
