Aviator is a browser based simulation game where players are given the chance to become - well an aviator. Take control of small air transfer business from loading up passengers and flying them from city to city, loading up on cargos, and even dabbling with the market between the cities. Thrown in with quite an intuitive interface and a pretty good gameplay, the game requires good decision making skills from the player to get creative and expand through its content.

Starting off in the world of Aviator, players will first of all be asked to create their own character. Nothing much to customize the avatar though, it is just a simple means to point out your character in the game with your choice of gender. Once you’re through, you’re taken into the game where a sequenced tutorial begins (for those who’d like to take it).

Although the tutorial has a lot to teach about the game, it’s one of the most poorly implemented things about the game since it prevents the player to get creative and experiment with newly learned stuff in the game and can even get you quite pinched with customers while doing so (e.g. taking passengers from one place but the game tasks you to go somewhere else – without the option to drop off somewhere else).

The gameplay itself is pretty fun as there are a ton of tasks in the game that you can do. There are more types of planes to be had, differing mainly in their load capacity, and their flight distance capacity. To progress in the game, you may opt to purchase new flight plans / certificates to get you roaming other airports in a country, and later on in other countries. While playing the game, you’ll never feel idle because of the fact that there’s always something you need to complete and simply take in.

Probably the best part of it all is that the game does not gimp you to make any profits in the game if you wouldn’t want to purchase the certificates to earn you new flight plans therein. Travel is also instantaneous so you also don’t have to invest a lot of time in the game to achieve any relative progress. What lack in it is probably just a queuing feature, to get you lining up a few things to do and without having to worry about minute details in the game.

From a visual perspective, Aviator is pretty solid. Although the game doesn’t throw 3D rendered stuff, all its assets look sharp with lots of details everywhere you roam around. It may take a while to though to figure out that all airports have the same layout, and seemingly have minute changes in their terminals from country to country (probably just the color and orientation). Nonetheless, planes that you’ll be able to purchase in the game have a lot of variety in them as well.

There are two main currencies in the game mainly the cash credits, and the flight certificates. Cash credits will fetch you items to buy and sell in the game as you dabble with market goods, as well as purchase you the planes in the game or its relative upgrades. Other than that, cash credits are used to purchase fuel through the flight plans, and repairs for your plane every now and then. On the other hand, flight certificates are only used to purchase you new flight plans in the game to get you running through new airports and even countries. Both can be acquired through in-game means but they can also be bought with real world money.

Overall, Aviator is a great simulation and management game that will appeal to players of all kinds. A great pick among online simulation games in Facebook. Aviator Shrnutí
