Sky Adventures
Start off from nothing and create a large and advanced airport that is crawling with traffic.
Help out your friends by assisting them with things going wrong in their airports.
Transport cargo to locations to earn large amounts of profits that will help you build up your airport even further.
Sky Adventures is a rather weird variant of a city builder game in the sense that it works on the regular city game mechanics but the theme is largely different from any city builder game out there. This is definitely a good thing as it gives the game a unique feel of its own.
Heading into the world of Sky Adventures you’ll be introduced to the game by the Mayor’s own daughter who’ll make you perform a series of tutorial quests to help you get the hang of the game.
The one flaw in this tutorial is that it completing it is compulsory and you can’t do anything else until you’ve finished all tasks in the tutorial session so expect to be locked into the tutorial for a fair duration of time when you start the game off for the first time.
Going into the actual gameplay of Sky Adventures you should expect to see all the things that you normally do in a city builder game like building structures, buying new land to expand your area, visiting friends to help them out with things in their own areas and all things of this sort. These things are combined with some unique gameplay elements that are limited to Sky Adventures only like the ability to fly planes to certain areas to transport cargo and such to earn profits.
Other than these things, one really good thing about Sky Adventures is that always has a direction for you to follow. Of course you’re free to do whatever you want in the game like building structures or buying land etc but under the circumstance where you can’t figure out what to do then the game has you covered since you’ll always be assigned a task to complete and the cherry on top of this is that these tasks are extremely rewarding so there will be few occasions where you’re actually out of money.
As for graphics and presentation, Sky Adventures is truly a delight to look at. The airport focused theme of the game is made even better by the fact that the airport is next to the sea which makes it an incredibly gorgeous game. The overall presentation is clean and the user-interface is easy to navigate around.
As for micro-transactions, Sky Adventures has a premium currency which the game calls oil. Oil can be bought in the game for real world money and can be used to perform a variety of tasks such as speeding up construction tasks, speeding up cargo deliveries and also to unlock new land. One really good thing about the game is that it automatically keeps giving you oil after set intervals so paying for it is never necessary and is completely optional.
Sky Adventures is a really fun city builder game that is brought to life thanks to the unique airport based theme. Sky Adventures Summary
